Spend the extra money and see Avatar in 3D. It will blow your mind.
I want to see Avatar, but those stupid Burger King tie-in commericals killed my interest.
I also want to see Bruno.
From back in the day, Burger King tie-ins may be the reason I never saw Shrek, and most likely never will.
Luckily, I miss all tie in commercials, and just about anything else you don't see during an NFL game or an NBA game. My natural cynicism just can't take it.
I'm skeptical about Avatar - and the fact that I have yet to hear a positive review without a disclaimer about the plot.
District 9 was really good.

Inglorious at home via Netflix - may watch this weekend.
Not sure about 9 - visually interesting but pretty horrible reviews.
New Moon - Twilight (movie) was pretty bad and NM book was worst of the bunch so not high hopes - some future Netflix...
Avatar possibly this weekend.
