Don't Worry, we are in good (and cool) hands!

Precautions: Sgt. Frank Shahadey and Vigo Co. school superintendent Danny Tanoos watch the wooded area around Meadows Elementary school Monday afternoon as parents arrive to pick up their children in the wake of a cougar sighting in the area.

Wild!

And a hilarious picture.

Too bad by cougar you aren't referring to an older, aggressively sexual woman.

Not sure why she would be stalking an elementary school, but it could be more entertaining, and less dangerous to children.

Wow! What a coincidence. Jonah was kept inside with the rest of his school at recess because a coyote was seen on the playground.

Was the cougar just a 55 year old woman making moves on young student teachers?

Meth and I thought about the alternative cougar at the same time.

Funny.

I bet the cougar was a just a tom cat misidentified. Are there cougars in your neck of the woods?

Does your county only have one super?

There is legislation in my state that is calling for one super in each county not every district. That would save the state multiple thousands. Just curious.
Linn County has 12 supers right now. Each one makes over 100,000.

Change that several thousands to millions.

Mix: it is a hilarious picture

Cory: there is a feline rescue center about 25 miles away, and one escaped a couple of years ago

there have been "sightings" but none as reliable, I guess, as the one this week

also - today - another sighting at Dobb's park. I guess with all the pockets of woodsy areas and plentiful food supply, they (cougars) could live out there life

What, is KSTP flying a chopper in as we speak?

That IS a funny picture. FBI? CIA? Her Majesty's Secret Service? No, just Sgt. Frank Shahadey and Vigo Co. school superintendent Danny Tanoos.
